What is the Crest Kayak?
The Crest Kayak is an orange one-person kayak that Rockstar Games has officially revealed for GTA 6. It is kept at Jason's safehouse, and Rockstar's own image shows Jason paddling it through calm water with the Crest logo visible on the hull.
It is probably the slowest vehicle Rockstar has revealed so far, and that is exactly the point. Not everything in GTA 6 seems to be about speed and action; the kayak is made for quiet trips on the water.
How to get the Crest Kayak in GTA 6
The Crest Kayak is one of the exclusive items in the GTA 6 Ultimate Edition. According to Rockstar's product description, it is available at Jason's safehouse, where players can use it to soak up the sun.
Rockstar has said that Ultimate Edition content is threaded through Jason and Lucia's story. When exactly the kayak becomes available has not been revealed.
Whether other kayaks can be found or rented in the Standard Edition is not known yet.

- Leonida Keys: a tropical island chain in the south, connected by long bridges, with life on and around the water.
- Grassrivers: the wetland region inspired by the Everglades, with swamps, mangroves and waterways.
- Mount Kalaga National Park: a forested wilderness with rivers, where kayaking is mentioned among the outdoor activities.
- Vice City: with canals, ports and a long coastline.
Which of these areas can actually be explored by kayak will become clear once the game is out.
A different kind of vehicle
GTA games are known for fast cars and big explosions, but they also reward slower moments. Earlier Rockstar games let players fish, hunt, ride horses and simply explore. A kayak fits that side of open-world play. It is a way to see the coastline and wetlands up close, take photos or just relax between missions.
It may also be a quiet way to reach places that are hard to access by road, although Rockstar has not said anything about that.

- Whether there are other kayaks or colours.
- Whether the kayak can be used in all waters or only in certain areas.
