Why the fastest car is not known yet
GTA 6 comes out on Thursday 19 November 2026. Until then, nobody outside Rockstar Games can measure how fast its cars are, and Rockstar has not published any top speeds. Lists online that already name "the fastest car in GTA 6" are guesses.
The table above shows every car Rockstar has officially revealed so far. As soon as reliable top speeds are known, it turns into a real ranking, with the fastest car at the top.
The sports cars revealed so far
The car most likely to compete for the top spot among the revealed cars is the '95 Grotti Cheetah, a mid-'90s sports car from the Ultimate Edition. Grotti is GTA's take on an Italian sports car maker, and the Cheetah has been one of the fast cars of the series since GTA III. Whether it is actually fast in GTA 6 is not known.
Many more cars will be in the game. See every officially revealed one in our GTA 6 vehicle database.
How top speed is measured in GTA
In GTA V, the speed shown in a car's stats in the game did not always match how fast it really went. Players and media measured real top speeds on long, flat roads, and those tests often gave a different order than the in-game bars. Once GTA 6 is out, we will use reliable measured top speeds for this ranking and say where they come from.
