GTA 6 Skip Mission Cheat: Can You Skip a Hard Mission?
Stuck on a mission? GTA has never had a cheat to skip one, but GTA V did offer to skip a part after you failed it a few times. Here is what we know for GTA 6.

Is there a skip mission cheat in GTA 6?
No GTA 6 cheat codes have been released, so there is no cheat to skip a mission. GTA 6 comes out on Thursday 19 November 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. No main GTA game has had a standard cheat that skips missions, but GTA V did offer a way out when you were really stuck.
How skipping worked in GTA V
When you failed the same part of a GTA V mission several times in a row, the game offered to skip that section. You could accept and continue the story, or decline and try again. It was a built-in option, not a cheat, and it was there for exactly the moments where people go looking for a skip mission code.
Cheats that help with hard missions
GTA V cheats could also make a hard part easier, but with limits. Some cheats, like skyfall and drunk mode, did not work during missions at all. Others did, and these were the most useful in a tough fight:
- Invincibility made you immune to damage for five minutes.
- Max health and armor refilled both bars instantly.
- All weapons filled your inventory with guns and ammo.
- Lower wanted level took stars off your wanted level.
What we expect for GTA 6
Rockstar has not said whether GTA 6 lets you skip parts of missions. Since GTA V already had the option, it would not be a surprise. Our mission walkthroughs will help with the hardest missions after release.
