GTA 6 Never Wanted Cheat: Can You Turn Off the Police?
Some older GTA games let you switch off the police completely. GTA V only let you remove stars one at a time. Here is what that could mean for GTA 6.

Is there a never wanted cheat in GTA 6?
No GTA 6 cheat codes are known yet, so there is no cheat to switch off the police. Rockstar Games releases GTA 6 on Thursday 19 November 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and has not said whether it will include cheats.
If GTA 6 follows GTA V, you are more likely to get a cheat that removes stars from your wanted level than one that stops the police for good.
What GTA V offered
GTA V had LAWYERUP, which lowered your wanted level by one star each time you entered it. With a few entries in a row you could get rid of the police completely, but committing a new crime brought them straight back. It also had FUGITIVE, which did the opposite and added a star. See our pages for the lower wanted level and raise wanted level cheats.
How older games did it
Older GTA games had a real "never wanted" cheat. In GTA Vice City, LEAVEMEALONE cleared your wanted level. In GTA San Andreas, AEZAKMI stopped you from getting a wanted level at all, no matter what you did. That is why so many players search for a never wanted cheat in GTA 6.
Police in GTA 6
Rockstar has shown police chases in its official GTA 6 footage, so the police will clearly play a big role in Leonida. How the wanted system works in detail has not been shared yet.
