GTA 6 Money Cheat: Is There One?
A money cheat is one of the most searched GTA cheats, but GTA V did not have one. Here is what that means for GTA 6, and how money cheats worked in older games.

Money cheats in GTA 6: the short answer
No GTA 6 money cheat is known. In fact, no GTA 6 cheat codes of any kind have been released yet. Rockstar Games will release the game on Thursday 19 November 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and it has not said anything about cheats.
What we can say is that a money cheat would be a big change from GTA V. That game had dozens of cheats, from super jump to vehicle spawns, but not a single one that gave you money.
Why GTA V had no money cheat
Money drives a large part of a GTA game. You earn it in missions and heists, and you spend it on weapons, cars, clothes and property. A cheat that fills your bank account would skip all of that in one go. In GTA V Rockstar chose to leave money out of the cheat list, and players had to earn their cash in the story instead.
How older GTA games did it
It was not always like this. In GTA San Andreas the famous HESOYAM cheat restored your health and armor, repaired your vehicle and added $250,000 to your money. Many players still type it out of habit. That cheat belongs to a game from 2004, though, and the series has moved away from it since.
What to look out for instead
If GTA 6 follows GTA V, the cheats you are most likely to see are about health, weapons, vehicles and the police. Those are the cheats we have pages for already, such as max health and armor and all weapons. As soon as Rockstar releases real codes, we add them there.
Be careful with videos and sites that promise a GTA 6 money cheat today. The game is not out, so those codes cannot be real.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a money cheat in GTA 6?
Not that anyone knows of. No GTA 6 cheat codes have been released, and GTA V did not have a money cheat either.
Did GTA 5 have a money cheat?
No. GTA V had cheats for health, weapons, wanted level, vehicles and fun effects, but none that gave you money.
Does HESOYAM work in GTA 6?
Do not count on it. HESOYAM is a GTA San Andreas code, and every GTA game has had its own codes.
