What a super jump cheat does
A super jump cheat gives your character the ability to leap far higher than any normal person could. A short hop becomes a jump over cars, walls and sometimes even small buildings. It is not a cheat that helps you win fights or escape the police in a serious way. It is there for fun, and it changes how you move through the world in a very noticeable way.
That makes it one of the more playful cheats in the Grand Theft Auto series, together with effects like slow motion and low gravity.
How it worked in GTA V
In Grand Theft Auto V, PC players could type HOPTOIT into the cheat input box to activate super jump. Once it was on, every jump sent the character high into the air, many times higher than a regular jump. It was a lasting effect rather than a single boosted leap, so players could bounce around the city for as long as they liked.
Console players entered a button combination, and on all platforms the cheat could also be activated by dialling a number on the in-game phone.
What we know about cheats in GTA 6
There is no official information about cheat codes in GTA 6 at the moment. Rockstar Games has confirmed that the game will be released on Thursday 19 November 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, but it has not shared whether the game includes cheats such as super jump.
The table at the top of this page says "not yet known" for every platform. We do not guess codes or copy lists from unknown sources. As soon as Rockstar Games releases the codes, we will add the correct one for each platform here.
Why super jump is so much fun
A new way to explore
With super jump the city suddenly has a second layer. Rooftops, fences and highway barriers stop being obstacles and start being places you can reach. Exploring a familiar area from above can make it feel completely new.
Comedy and chaos
Watching a character fly into the air from a standing start never really gets old. Super jump is often the cheat players turn to when they just want to laugh at the game's physics.
Creative shortcuts
Sometimes the fastest route is straight over the top. A big jump can take you over obstacles that would normally force you to go around.
Watch your landing
A jump that goes very high usually ends with a long way down. In GTA V the super jump cheat did not automatically protect you from what happened after the jump, so landing in the wrong place could hurt. Many players combined it with an invincibility or health cheat to keep the fun going without visits to the hospital.
It also helps to practise in an open area first. Jumping near traffic, water or the edge of a high building can quickly lead to unexpected results.
Things to keep in mind
Achievements and trophies
In GTA V using any cheat turned off achievements and trophies for the current play session. Restarting the game or loading a save turned them back on. Save before experimenting if achievements matter to you.
Story mode only
GTA V cheats could not be used in GTA Online. If GTA 6 has an online mode, we expect cheats to stay in the single-player story again, but this has not been confirmed.
Missions may not expect it
Missions are designed for normal movement. Jumping over walls or onto roofs during a mission can sometimes confuse the game, so it is best to use super jump in free roam.

Which platforms will this page cover?
GTA 6 is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. A PC version has not been announced, but the switch above the table already includes PC in case one follows.
