GTA 6 Infinite Ammo Cheat: Is There One?
Never reloading again sounds great, but GTA V had no infinite ammo cheat. Here is how ammo cheats worked in earlier games and what we expect for GTA 6.

Is there an infinite ammo cheat in GTA 6?
No GTA 6 cheat codes have been released, so there is no infinite ammo cheat yet. GTA 6 comes out on Thursday 19 November 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar Games has not said anything about cheats.
Looking at GTA V, a real infinite ammo cheat is not very likely. That game gave you a full load of weapons and ammunition, but not ammo that never runs out.
What GTA V offered
The GTA V cheat TOOLUP gave you a weapon of each type with plenty of ammunition. When you ran low, you could simply enter it again. In practice that worked almost like infinite ammo, as long as you were willing to type the code now and then. Read more on our all weapons cheat page.
GTA V also had cheats that changed what your bullets did, like explosive ammo and flaming bullets.
How San Andreas did it
GTA San Andreas did have a true infinite ammo cheat: FULLCLIP gave you unlimited ammunition and no reloading. It is one of the cheats players still remember, which is why so many people search for it in GTA 6. Every GTA game has had its own codes, though, so the old code will not carry over.
Running out of ammo without cheats
In GTA V you could buy ammunition at Ammu-Nation, and you picked up ammo from enemies you defeated. Expect something similar in GTA 6, but Rockstar has not shared details about shops or weapons yet.
