Who is Boobie Ike?
Boobie Ike is one of the eight characters Rockstar Games has officially introduced for Grand Theft Auto VI. He is a Vice City local who has turned his street reputation into a business empire.
Boobie represents a classic GTA theme: the line between legitimate business and crime is rarely as clear as it seems.
What Rockstar has revealed
From the streets to business
According to Rockstar, Boobie built on his reputation on the streets to move into business. His holdings span real estate, nightlife and music in Vice City.
Only Raw Records
Boobie is a co-founder of Only Raw Records, a record label and studio in Vice City. The label connects him to two other characters: producer Dre'Quan Priest, who works at the studio, and Real Dimez, the duo who signed with the label.
Nightlife
Boobie's business interests include Vice City nightlife. His clubs are places where other characters, including Dre'Quan, can be seen.
His connections
- Dre'Quan Priest: an aspiring producer working at Boobie's studio, often seen hanging out with him in his clubs.
- Real Dimez: the duo of Bae-Luxe and Roxy, signed to Only Raw Records.
Together these characters form the Vice City music scene within GTA 6's cast.
What role could Boobie play?
Rockstar has not revealed exactly how Boobie fits into Jason and Lucia's story. As a well-connected businessman with money, venues and influence, he is the kind of character who could open doors, offer work or create problems for the protagonists. Until the game is out, though, that remains speculation, and we will only update this guide with confirmed information.
Boobie and Vice City
Vice City has always been about glamour with a dark side: nightlife, money and music on the surface, crime underneath. Boobie fits that image perfectly. He is someone who has made it, but whose success started on the streets.
Music also ties him to one of the most celebrated parts of the series. Grand Theft Auto has always used music to give its cities personality, and with Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album announced alongside the game, the music business is clearly an important part of this world.
Where did Boobie appear?
Boobie was introduced with the expanded character profiles on the official GTA 6 website around the release of the second trailer in May 2025.
