What is Ambrosia?
Ambrosia is one of the six regions of Leonida that Rockstar Games has officially introduced for Grand Theft Auto VI. It is described as an industrial and agricultural heartland, a part of the state where things are grown, processed and shipped.
It offers a very different picture of Leonida from the beaches of Vice City or the islands of the Keys: a place of work rather than leisure.
What to expect
A sugar refinery
The most striking feature of Ambrosia is a large sugar refinery, Allied Crystal, which dominates the area. Sugar has long been an important crop in parts of Florida, and the refinery anchors the region's identity.
Fields
Around the refinery lie fields, giving Ambrosia an agricultural, open landscape.
Freight infrastructure
Goods need to be moved, so the region includes freight infrastructure. That points to rail lines, depots and heavy transport.
Biker culture
Ambrosia is also described as having a local biker culture. Biker gangs have featured in earlier GTA games, and the open roads of an agricultural region are a natural home for them.
