GTA 6 has not been released yet. This guide is based on what Rockstar Games has revealed so far and will be updated when the game launches.
GTA 6: The Album and the Soundtrack
Music has always been at the heart of GTA, and GTA 6 comes with its own album of original tracks. Here is what has been announced.

Is there a GTA 6 album?
Yes. Rockstar Games has announced Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, a collection of 34 original tracks. According to the official GTA 6 website, it is set to be released on 19 November, the same day as the game.
That makes it more than a typical soundtrack release. The album is presented as a project of its own, with original music made for the world of GTA 6.
Music and Grand Theft Auto
Music has always been a big part of GTA. The series is famous for its in-game radio stations, which let players switch between genres while driving and help give each city its own atmosphere. Many players remember particular songs from earlier games as strongly as the missions themselves.
Vice City in particular is closely tied to music. The 2002 game Grand Theft Auto: Vice City used a soundtrack full of 1980s hits that became an essential part of its identity. GTA 6 returns to a modern-day Vice City, and an original album fits that tradition.
Music in the world of GTA 6
Music also plays a role in GTA 6's story world. Several of the characters Rockstar has introduced are connected to the local music scene:
- Boobie Ike co-founded the record label and studio Only Raw Records.
- Dre'Quan Priest is an aspiring music producer working at Only Raw Records.
- Real Dimez, the duo of Bae-Luxe and Roxy, signed with Only Raw Records after an early hit.
Our character guides explain more about each of them.
What we do not know yet
Rockstar has announced the album and the number of tracks, but many details are best checked on the official website as they are released:
- The full tracklist and the artists involved.
- On which streaming services and formats the album will be available.
- How the album relates to the in-game radio stations.
We will update this guide once the album is out and these details are public.
How to listen
When the album is released, the official GTA 6 website and Rockstar's own channels will be the most reliable places to find out where to listen. Be careful with uploads that claim to be leaked or early versions of the album: they are often fake, and sharing leaked material is something we do not support.
In-game radio
Every main GTA game so far has included in-game radio stations. Rockstar has not yet published a full list of GTA 6's stations or their music. When it does, we will cover them in a separate guide.
