What a spawn golf cart cheat does
A spawn golf cart cheat puts a golf cart right next to you. It is slow, small and completely unsuited to car chases, which is exactly what makes it fun. In a world full of fast cars and powerful vehicles, a golf cart is a light-hearted alternative.
Nobody spawns a golf cart to win a race. They spawn it to cruise around, to make other players laugh or to see how far a vehicle this modest can get before something goes wrong.
How it worked in GTA V
In Grand Theft Auto V, PC players typed HOLEIN1 into the cheat input box to spawn a golf cart. On consoles the cheat was entered with a button combination, and on every platform it could also be triggered with a number on the in-game phone.
The code is a play on "hole in one", the dream shot of every golfer. It was one of the most playful vehicle cheats in the game.
What we know about cheats in GTA 6
There is currently no official information about cheat codes in GTA 6. Rockstar Games has confirmed that the game will be released on Thursday 19 November 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, but it has not said whether it includes cheats or which vehicles will be in the game.
The table at the top of this page shows "not yet known" for every platform. We never guess codes. As soon as Rockstar Games releases them, we will add the right one here.
Why spawn something this slow?
Comedy
A golf cart in the middle of a busy highway, or a police chase in a vehicle that barely reaches cycling speed, is a guaranteed laugh.
A relaxed tour
At low speed you notice details you would miss in a sports car. A golf cart is a surprisingly nice way to explore a neighbourhood.
Creative challenges
Some players set themselves goals like crossing the whole map in a golf cart. It turns a simple vehicle into a test of patience and route planning.
Tips for golf cart adventures
- Avoid fast roads. A golf cart offers little protection and cannot get out of the way quickly.
- Use paths and parks. Its small size lets it go places where bigger vehicles struggle.
- Combine it with low gravity. In GTA V low gravity made even the slowest vehicles do surprising things over bumps and hills.
- Do not count on it for escapes. If the police are after you, switch to something faster.
Things to keep in mind
Achievements and trophies
In GTA V any cheat, including vehicle cheats, disabled achievements and trophies for the current session. Restarting or reloading your save switched them back on.
Story mode only
GTA V cheats could not be used in GTA Online. If GTA 6 has an online mode, we expect cheats to be limited to single-player again, but this has not been confirmed.
Spawned vehicles may not stay
Leave a spawned golf cart behind and it may not be there when you return. Treat it as a vehicle for the moment.
