What is the Vintage Vice City Pack?
The Vintage Vice City Pack is the pre-order bonus for GTA 6. It is a set of retro-themed in-game items that you receive when you pre-order the game. The name is a nod to Vice City's past: the city first appeared in the Grand Theft Auto series decades ago, and the pack celebrates that history with a vintage look.
It is a bonus, not a separate purchase. You cannot buy it on its own; you get it by pre-ordering.
How do you get it?
Pre-orders opened on 25 June 2026. Pre-ordering GTA 6 for PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S includes the Vintage Vice City Pack. It does not matter which edition you choose: the bonus comes with both the Standard Edition and the Ultimate Edition.
The bonus is tied to pre-ordering, so it is meant for players who order before the game is released on Thursday 19 November 2026. If you are interested in it, make sure you pre-order in time and check the conditions in the store you use.
What is in the pack?
Rockstar describes the pack as a collection of retro-themed in-game items. The exact list of contents is shown on the official GTA 6 website and in console stores. Because store descriptions can be updated, we recommend checking the official page for the full and current list rather than relying on summaries elsewhere.
Once the game is out and the contents can be seen in-game, we will describe them here.
Why a "vintage" Vice City theme?
Vice City has a special place in the series. Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, released in 2002, was set in a 1980s version of the city and became one of the most loved entries in the franchise. GTA 6 returns to Vice City in the present day, as part of the state of Leonida.
A retro-themed bonus is a natural way to connect the new game with that past, and to reward long-time fans who remember the original.
Is it worth pre-ordering for?
Pre-order bonuses are usually cosmetic or convenience items. They can be fun, but they rarely change how the game plays. Whether the pack is worth pre-ordering for depends on how sure you already are about buying the game.
- If you are certain you will buy GTA 6, pre-ordering gets you the pack at no extra cost.
- If you want to wait for reviews, missing the pack is a small price for making a more informed decision.
Things to watch out for
Official stores only
Buy from official console stores or well-known retailers. Unofficial sellers may not include the bonus, or may not be legitimate at all.
Check the deadline
Bonuses tied to pre-orders usually have a cut-off. Read the store page carefully so you do not miss out.
Codes for physical copies
If you pre-order a physical copy, the bonus may come as a code. Keep your receipt and any codes safe until you have redeemed them.
