Are GTA beers coming to real life?
Possibly. In October 2026, fans found three GTA-themed beer labels in a public database of the US Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), the federal agency that approves labels on alcoholic drinks. All three were filed by Tripping Animals Brewing, a brewery in Florida, the state Leonida is based on.
A commercial release has not been confirmed. Neither Rockstar nor the brewery has announced the beers, a price or where they will be sold.
The three beers
| Beer | Alcohol | Label approved |
|---|---|---|
| Pißwasser | 4.2% | 29 September 2026 |
| No Mames Vice City (lager) | 6% | 9 October 2026 |
| Patriot | 4.2% | 15 October 2026 |
Pißwasser and Patriot are familiar names to GTA fans: both are fictional beer brands from earlier games in the series. The labels were first spotted by the fan site iGrandTheftAuto.
What a label approval means
In the United States, a beer needs an approved label before it can be sold across state lines. An approval shows that someone is preparing to sell the drink, but it is not a guarantee:
- It does not say when the beer goes on sale.
- It does not say where: the beers could be sold only in Florida, only at events, or more widely.
- It does not say what they will cost.
Given the timing, a link with the GTA 6 launch on 19 November 2026 seems likely, but that has not been confirmed either. Like all alcohol in the US, the beers would only be for buyers aged 21 and over.
Part of a bigger campaign
The labels appeared in the same weeks that GTA's fast-food chains opened for real in Miami. Read more in Burger Shot and Cluckin' Bell open in Miami.
