No official size yet
Rockstar Games has not said how big the GTA 6 map is, in square miles or compared to GTA V. Many size claims online are based on guesses or leaked material, so we do not repeat them here. GTA 6 comes out on Thursday 19 November 2026, and the real size will be measured soon after.
What we do know
Rockstar has revealed 6 regions of Leonida so far: Vice City, the Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga National Park. Together they cover a big city, an island chain, swamps, a port town, farmland and mountains. See them on our GTA 6 interactive map.
For comparison, GTA V had one city, Los Santos, and the countryside of Blaine County around it.
