What a spawn BMX cheat does

A spawn BMX cheat places a BMX bike right next to you. BMX bikes are small, light and built for tricks, which makes them very different from the cars and motorbikes that dominate most of a Grand Theft Auto game. With one code you have a quick, nimble way to get around and a tool for stunts.

It is one of the more relaxed vehicle cheats. You will not win a race against a sports car, but you can go places and pull off moves that bigger vehicles cannot.

How it worked in GTA V

In Grand Theft Auto V, PC players typed BANDIT into the cheat input box to spawn a BMX. On consoles the cheat was entered with a button combination, and on every platform it could also be triggered by dialling a number on the in-game phone.

It was part of a wider set of vehicle cheats in GTA V that covered everything from sports cars to aircraft. The BMX stood out because it was so small and playful compared to the rest.

What we know about cheats in GTA 6

At the time of writing there is no official information about cheat codes in GTA 6. Rockstar Games has confirmed that the game will be released on Thursday 19 November 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, but it has not shared whether it includes cheats, or which vehicles they might spawn.

The table at the top of this page shows "not yet known" for every platform. We do not publish guessed codes. As soon as Rockstar Games releases them, we will add the correct one here.

Why a BMX is fun to have

Tricks and stunts

BMX bikes are made for jumps, flips and grinding along edges. Skate parks, stairs and ramps become playgrounds.

Getting through tight spaces

A bike fits through alleys, along footpaths and between obstacles where cars get stuck. It is a handy way to explore parts of a city that are hard to reach by car.

A calmer way to explore

Riding a bike slows the pace down. It gives you time to take in the details of the world instead of rushing past them.

Tips for riding a BMX

  • Look for ramps. Curbs, stairs and slopes all make good launch points for tricks.
  • Stay away from fast traffic. A bike offers no protection in a collision.
  • Use it for short trips. For long distances a car or motorbike is quicker, but for short hops a BMX is surprisingly practical.
  • Combine it with super jump or low gravity. In GTA V these cheats turned simple bike jumps into huge flights.

Things to keep in mind

Achievements and trophies

In GTA V any cheat, including vehicle cheats, switched off achievements and trophies for the rest of the session. Restarting or reloading your save turned them back on.

Story mode only

GTA V cheats could not be used in GTA Online. If GTA 6 has an online mode, we expect cheats to stay in single-player again, but this has not been confirmed.

Spawned vehicles may not stay

A spawned bike behaves like any other vehicle in the world. If you leave it behind, it may be gone when you return.
